Health Care Could Learn From Spyware?
November 1, 2008 6:10 am TechnologyRecently, after having taken my infant daughter to the doctor for a check-up, I learned of my naivete about the health care system when I received a bill that was larger than expected. Apparently, health insurance doesn’t cover “routine” doctor visits, and this is what is meant when it is said we have “sick” care, not health care. Fortunately, as far as the health of our computers, there is a spyware removal program that can detect instances of spyware… before it infects your computer instead of afterward. It’s always better to avoid damage instead of undoing it. Perhaps the health care system could take a preventative cue from proper PC care.
