Data is not always gone after a file is deleted

I was surprised to learn the even after you remove a program or files from your computer there sometimes is left over pieces of the data that program stored and used still lurking around your hard drive. Even worse was that the data could be information you don’t want others to get their hands on such as personal or financial info. The solution I found was to run registry repair software every few months, and after any uninstall of software I did on my machine. this ensured that any data stored in the windows registry files was removed after I ran the uninstall program for the software.
