Difficult to get a PS146?
November 29, 2008 12:10 pm Referenceps146 is by far one of the easiest training to go through when you want to be a financial planner. Being a financial planner is not a difficult job at all. Just follow what your dealer group tells you to sell and you are probably fine.
The art of it is the client management. Rich clients tend to be demanding. Very demanding. So it is more a client management job rather than a technical job.
If you want to pursue a technical job, getting a math degree and getting yourself into a financial analyst job or even becoming a senior para planner would suit better.
