A syringe is always handy to keep in the house for those times your turtle may need to have medication that is liquid based. Trying to administer it without one will be next to impossible. I know this myself as I tried it once. Didn’t work out real well to say the least.
Another thing to keep on hand if your pet turtle doesn’t do a lot of walking is some clippers. You will find that turtles will occasionally need to have their claws trimmed up a little at various times. Of course, some types of turtles should never have their claws trimmed.
