Alternative Energy Sources
June 18, 2008 4:11 pm HomeApart from wind power, solar power, and biomass, the three main alternative energy sources, there are others as well that are fast gaining momentum and becoming reliable sources of energy. Another form of renewable energy that some countries have the capability to produce, though not very popular is the Nuclear power. Nuclear power stations can now be safe and the probability of harming people or animals is slim to none due to technological advances. Another form of renewable energy that is gaining momentum is Hydropower. Waves of water are used to create the energy. Although it typically takes a large amount of water to create the energy needed to sustain cities, it is still a viable option to study and investigate to see if it can be scaled down somehow, and then become beneficial.
