The Fitness Articles Make It Sound So Easy
February 27, 2008 5:11 pm HealthI used to walk a couple of kilometers every day. But once you get out of the routine of it, your fitness levels do suffer. I know this because I was so put off having to walk to and from the local shopping center the other day, twice. I got to the shopping center, and left a receipt at home that I needed, and it was my only day off this week, so I couldn’t put off returning later that day. The heat didn’t help either. I ended up catching a taxi back and just doing the walking on the second trip that afternoon. And that took some willpower!
All those fitness articles make it sound so easy. Just do it, they say. But if your fitness levels are bad, then that extra effort really is something. It sure does take willpower. I guess it’s worth it in the end though. You do feel a lot better when you’re fitter.
