Headset
April 30, 2008 7:12 am HealthI work for a telemarketing company and we are on the phone constantly for at least 8 hours a day. I say at least 8 hours, but sometimes if I want the overtime I am on for 10 hours regularly. I have a set of headphones that I use while I am on the phone and it helps me to block out disrupting noises in the background. Recently I have heard a really loud buzzing tone in the headset but I can not seem to get help from my boss to quiet it. Is this a case of industrial deafness that I have acquired through these headphones?
