Stagnant Sales
May 17, 2008 11:14 am BusinessWhen I started working as a car sales representative, I knew that the rising gas prices would negatively impact sales. Since I work on commission, this poses a particular problem for me! I was very glad when our upper management announced the redeployment of all vehicles on our lot that had an estimated miles per gallon rating lower than twenty-five. They were to be replaced with a few lines of hybrid vehicles rated between thirty and forty-five miles per gallon. On the first day after the new vehicles arrived, I made three sales in one day. Things are looking up…customers are happy, and I am again earning some money!
