Should I file in China?

I have a great new invention, and I am in the process of filing for patents. Should I file in China? I know that if I try to get a patent in China I will have to use a China patent agent. Is this expensive? Is it worth it? I suppose if I don’t do it someone else can and then they will be able to make money in China from my idea, so I probably should file. Can anyone tell me how to go about it? I don’t want to spend any more money than necessary to protect my interests.
