My son applied to an electrician trade school training program.

My son is a senior in high school. He attended a vocational school, where he learned the basics of electrical work. He loved the program. He decided that he wanted to become an electrician. He applied to an electrician trade school training program. He is hoping to hear back from them soon. He is hoping to get accepted. The school is located near our home, so he will not have to stay in a dorm, if he is accepted. If he is rejected by the school, there are other schools he can apply to. He will just have to go away for school. He is waiting to hear from the local school before he applies elsewhere.
