They were looking for affordable rental cars in Christchurch and had been given the name of one company — did I know where the office was. Well, as it happened, although I have lived in Christchurch for around 20 years, in a couple of stretches, I did not know. So we all looked together at the map. And there was the address! Just a block from the Cathedral Square. So I sent them off and they collected their rental care. I think they were driving to Picton, because they had said they were going to Wellington after some time. So a rental car was a good choice. There are several interesting stopping places between Christchurch and Picton, and they can’t be enjoyed on the bus.
