The first thing that I did was to write down three or four companies from the phone book then I went on-line to qet quotes. Once I choose, I go ahead and book on-line. I also have the habit of booking another truck just in case. Then I call in and confirm. So, if you decide to use a rent a moving truck, when you get to the company, give them the reservation number. You may need to use a credit card to secure the transaction, even if you decide to pay cash. Answer a few questions, signs some papers, check the truck for previous damage and note them and then you are on your way. Some questions you may want to ask if not explained to you. Can I leave my vehicle here until I return the truck? Is there a place to return keys if I return the truck after business hours?
