Silly Thumb Spica Story
June 17, 2008 8:48 am 94Can you believe it? Silly me managed some how, exactly how i still haven't figured out, to sprain my thumb. So badly that I know have to wear something called a thumb spica. I'd never heard of it before, but soon realized that I've seen others wear similar things in the past to help restrict movement to aide in the healing process. I came home from the doctors office with it on, and my 10 year old son, who is a big science-fiction fan, thought that my thumb spica was really cool and has started to call me "bionic momma".
